Original Music Review covers original music from independent and emerging artists across all genres, alongside catalog reviews of established releases. We publish reviews, artist features, release commentary, and music-discovery articles.

Covers and remixes of other artists' work are not eligible for paid review packages. Original remixes of an artist's own material are accepted.

AI-generated tracks are accepted and published under their own separate category, clearly labeled so readers can tell at a glance which work was made by a human and which was generated.

Original Music Review publishes independent music criticism, review features, artist-submitted reviews, paid review packages, catalog reviews, and music-discovery articles.

Our opinions are editorial. Payment, submission, advertising, or sponsorship does not guarantee a positive review, rating, playlist placement, press pickup, streaming growth, sales, or any other commercial result.

Reviews and features may be labeled as Editorial Review, Artist Submission, Paid Review, Catalog Review, or Sponsored Feature.

Editorial Review — a review selected independently by Original Music Review from publicly available music.

Artist Submission — a release submitted by an artist, representative, label, or publicist for editorial consideration.

Paid Review — a review produced through a paid review package. Payment guarantees listening time and written coverage according to the selected package. Payment does not guarantee positive coverage.

Catalog Review — independent commentary on a publicly released song, album, or music video by an established, independent, or emerging artist. Unless stated otherwise, catalog reviews are not submitted, sponsored, approved, or endorsed by the artist or their representatives.

Sponsored Feature — promotional or sponsored content. Sponsored content will be clearly labeled.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, Original Music Review is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the artists, labels, publishers, management companies, platforms, or representatives mentioned on this site.

Artist names, song titles, album titles, label names, platform names, trademarks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

Original Music Review does not host copyrighted audio files. Where available, music is linked or embedded through official third-party platforms such as Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp, Apple Music, or similar services.

Embedded players and platform links are provided for listening convenience and remain subject to the terms and rights policies of the respective platforms.

Original Music Review may discuss lyrics, themes, songwriting, and meaning as part of criticism and commentary.

We avoid reproducing full lyrics or substantial lyric excerpts. Short lyric quotations may be used only where necessary for commentary, analysis, or criticism.

Unless lyric licensing is obtained, reviews should not include full verses, choruses, or complete lyric transcriptions.

Some review pages may include original editorial images, generated images, or custom review artwork created for visual commentary, categorization, or publication design. These images are not official album, single, or artist artwork unless explicitly stated.

We do not use official album artwork, artist press photos, label logos, screenshots from music videos, or artist branding unless permission, licensing, or a clearly appropriate official embed or source is available.

When original editorial images are used, they are labeled as editorial images or review artwork, not official release artwork.

Some reviews are selected through free editorial consideration. Others are produced through paid review packages.

Paid review packages guarantee that we will listen to the submitted music and produce a written review according to the selected package. Payment does not guarantee a positive review, specific rating, playlist placement, press pickup, streaming growth, sales, or any other commercial result.

Our reviewers may write under pen names. Pen names are used to preserve privacy and editorial independence.

Reviews are based on the music submitted, publicly available artist information, and the reviewer's independent opinion.

Sponsored features, advertising, or promotional placements will be clearly labeled where applicable. No paid review will be marked or styled as a Sponsored Feature; paid reviews are produced under the same editorial standards as free ones.

Original Music Review does not guarantee press pickup, playlist placement, streaming growth, social-media growth, sales, bookings, label interest, fan growth, or any other commercial outcome.
